SoniK is a sound editor for the KDE environment. It brings to UNIX
similar functionality to the likes of Soundforge and Cool Edit on the Windows
platform. While it has mainly been developed on the Linux platform,
the portability of KDE should allow it to run on other platforms
supported by KDE (although the author does not have access to any
non-Linux system - any reports of success/failure welcome!).
